Done-Rite Tire & Auto supports the Thunder Bay community in a variety of ways.

Employer to Thunder Bay Residents

Done-Rite Tire & Auto has been an employer in the city of Thunder Bay for over fifteen years.  Many of the current staff members have been with us since the company’s inception in 1995.

Done-Rite Tire & Auto currently employs over ten employees.

Sponsorships and Donations

Done-Rite Tire & Auto engages in two forms of sponsorships.

Organizations that rely on the use of vehicles, such as the Thunder Bay Blues Festival, are offered complementary and/or discounted prices for automotive services and vehicle rentals.

Other organizations, such as local hockey teams, are offered sponsorships in the form of financial support.

Whether the sponsorship is service related or financial, the recipients are greatly appreciative of our support.  The following organizations have recently received support from Done-Rite Tire & Auto:

·         George Jeffrey Centre

·         United Way

·         Dragon Boat Festival

·         Thunder Bay Blues Festival

·         Crime Stoppers

·         Neebing Hockey Association

·         Beaver’s Hockey Association

·         Elk’s Junior Hockey Association

·         Westgate Girls Volley Ball

Participation and Volunteer Efforts

Done-Rite Tire & Auto strives to educate the community on vehicle safety and safe driving habits.  We recently partnered with St. John’s Ambulance to teach parents and caregivers about the importance of properly installing infant restraint carriers.  The “Car Seat Clinic” was held at Done-Rite Tire & Auto in early winter, and was quite a success.  A number of parents/caregivers took advantage of the free inspections, and the opportunity to learn how to securely and safely install their car seats.

The staff from Done-Rite Ti re & Auto recently participated in the “Operation Red Nose” campaign.  This campaign was developed and organized by the staff at St. John’s Ambulance, and will be repeated annually to discourage drivers from driving under the influence of alcohol over the Christmas season.

To learn more about these events, and the various services offered by St. John’s Ambulance, check out their website at www.sja.ca/tbay.  They are truly a community driven organization.
