Done-Rite Tire & Auto has been providing
Thunder Bay with vehicle repair and maintenance service since 1995. Initially, the company’s primary customer base was residential. One car at a time, Done-Rite Tire & Auto repaired and serviced vehicles with care and attention to customer service. Within a few years, the business had a loyal base of customers and its’ reputation for quality workmanship began to spread throughout the city.
In 1999, in response to the growing number of customers, the business relocated to a significantly larger building at 1020 Carrick Street. With the additional capacity to perform repair and maintenance work, Done-Rite Tire & Auto gained larger customers and was awarded fleet work with FedEx, Finn Way General Contractor Inc., All Temp Heating & Cooling Systems, Precision Paving Stone, Sacchetti Contracting, Abitibi Consolidated Woodlands, C. Kelos Homes Ltd. and other companies with similar sized fleets.
In September 2008, Done-Rite Tire & Auto was awarded the contract for the maintenance and servicing of TBayTel’s vehicle fleet. This fleet is comprised of approximately ninety vehicles. This contract was renewed for a second twelve month period in September 2009.
In October 2008, Done-Rite Tire & Auto was awarded the contract for the maintenance and repair of the Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay’s General Fleet. This fleet is comprised of approximately one hundred and sixty vehicles. This contract was renewed for a second twelve month period in December 2009.
Done-Rite Tire & Auto has effectively grown into its fleet management role, and has gained years of experience in scheduling and completing fleet work. The business still operates as it did in 1995, with care and exceptional customer service, however it has the manpower, knowledge and experience to rival any vehicle repair business in Northwestern Ontario.
